I stayed at Princesa Maria for four nights while exploring the beautiful area. The staff was amazing, helping me plan rafting and zip-lining trips at a great price. The owners were so sweet, and I appreciated the fridge stocked with drinks and the shared kitchen. The beds were comfy, and having a private bathroom was a great value for the price. There was a rule for silence after 11 pm, which was perfect for a peaceful stay. a perfect place for a relaxed stay with family.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

We were a big group of friends and loved the low-priced rafting and paragliding trips that the owners booked for us. the hot showers were great, the wifi was solid, and the well-equipped kitchen was kept clean. the staff, including the owners and the cleaner lady, were kind and hardworking. We also enjoyed the big fresh produce market next door and had a great time chatting with Victor and Yolanda. a good place to stay and highly recommended.
Felt at home here, no complaints.

I had a fantastic stay at a hostel in Baños. The room was spacious, clean, and had plenty of storage space for my belongings. The owner, Victor, was incredibly helpful and provided me with lots of information about the area. He even helped me arrange tours at the best prices. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the center but still quiet. The kitchen was clean and well-equipped. I highly recommend this hostel.

Clean and well-organized with hot showers and good kitchen. Early check-in available and friendly elderly couple. Not a party place, but nice to relax.

The hostel was very clean and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen that we could use. The owners were incredibly nice and helpful, going out of their way to talk slowly and clearly for us Spanish beginners. We also loved that there was a vegetable market right around the corner, perfect for fresh produce, and we discovered one of the best bakeries just a minute away!
While the hostel was great overall, it was a bit far from the center, requiring a 4-6 times walk back and forth daily. depending on the side of the property, the road noise could get quite loud at times.

The showers were absolutely amazing, with fantastic water pressure and constant hot water. The hostal felt like home, with a cozy common area, a well-stocked kitchen, and a small library. We loved the friendly atmosphere and enjoyed chatting with other guests. The owner was incredibly helpful and caring, always ready to assist with anything we needed. The hostal also provided a safe, clean, and comfortable stay.
The only small drawback was the daily emptying of the bathroom bin, which could have been done every other day instead. Additionally, the pillows were a bit too hard for my liking, but that's just a personal preference.

We had a fantastic stay at Hostal Princesa Maria! The private room with a mountain view was a steal compared to the prices at the party hostels in town. The location was perfect, just a few blocks from the market where we could buy fresh produce on weekends and a short walk to the plaza. The owners were lovely and provided us with all the information we needed to explore Banos. The kitchen facilities were a major plus, and everything was clean and well-maintained. Highly recommended!
